Download free software on the Net? Suddenly find your computer is doing strange things? Here are two excellent programs to deal with the problems of Spyware.
The first is Ad Aware from Lavasoft.
The second is Spybot. Spybot has come out with version 1.3, so if you are using version 1.2, you will want to get the new version.
Did I tell you both are free? Yep and here is what to do. Install and run both from time to time to get rid of any scumware you may pick up.
A third program to consider is CW Shredder. Also free. I don't use it myself, but you may want to try it out.
